RHODIOLA ROSEA - YOUR NEW ANTI-AGING TREATMENT SUPPLEMENT!

As a Soviet soldier in Afghanistan in 1979, Zakir Ramazanov discovered a tonic that helped him reduce stress, while boosting mental and physical energy. It wasn't alcohol, but tea--made from the golden-yellow roots of a Siberian plant called Rhodiola rosea, which the Siberian soldiers received in their mothers' packages from home. Now a plant physiologist and president of National BioScience Corp. in Chester, N.Y., he is supplying extracts of the same root to U.S. supplement makers

Rhodiola rosea of Russian origin is now slowly but surely becoming more widely accepted in Europe and the USA as a powerful anti-aging, anti-stress formula.

Traditional folk medicine used Rhodiola Rosea to increase physical endurance, work productivity, longevity, resistance to high altitude sickness, and to treat fatigue, depression, anemia, impotence, gastrointestinal ailments, infections, and nervous system disorders. In mountain villages of Siberia, a bouquet of roots is still given to couples prior to marriage to enhance fertility and assure the birth of healthy children. In Middle Asia, Rhodiola Rosea tea was the most effective treatment for cold and flu during severe Asian winters. Mongolian doctors prescribed it for tuberculosis and cancer.13 For centuries, only family members knew where to harvest the wild "golden roots" and the methods of extraction. Siberians secretly transported the herb down ancient trails to the Caucasian Mountains where it was
traded for Georgian wines, fruits, garlic, and honey. Chinese emperors sent expeditions to Siberia to bring back the "golden root" for medicinal preparations. Linnaeus wrote of Rhodiola Rosea as an astringent and for the treatment of hernia, leucorrhoea (vaginal discharge), hysteria, and headache. In 1755 Rhodiola Rosea was included in the first Swedish Pharmacopoeia. Vikings used the herb to enhance their physical strength and endurance. German researchers described the benefits of Rhodiola Rosea for pain, headache, scurvy, hemorrhoids, as a stimulant, and as an anti-inflammatory.

Due to its ability to survive tough conditions and strong vitality, local people call it "the herb of longevity" and "the herb of immortality," and used it as a tonic and sexual elixir for both man and woman.

In today's culture of hustling and bustling, with chaos coming from every direction, I do not think we can afford to ignore this natural medicine any longer. It is in our interest to take advantage of these powerful herbs if we want to survive the demands modern life imposes on us. One does not have to be a professor or scientist to research herbs and educate oneself on how they work. The motivation depends on how much one desires to improve one's quality of life. Since life is so short, our advice is: don't wait until you have a day off, maybe next week. Why not take Russian Rhodiola as soon as possible, so your week will be more productive?
Taking Rhodiola Rosea you will be better able to cope with stress!

It is not only one of the most versatile plants known to man but also one of the safest. In Siberia, it is still said, "people who drink Rhodiola Rosea tea will live more than 100 years."

RHODIOLA ROSEA IS CLASSIFIED AS AN ADAPTOGEN
So what is an Adaptogen? According to modern science, adaptogens are natural plant products that increase the body's ability to cope with internal and external stress factors, and normalize the functions of the organism. They help maintain the stable internal environment inside the organism known as homeostasis. An important characteristic is that they are safe, possessing few known side effects.
The main effects of adaptogens are an increased availability of energy during the day, a reduction of stressed feelings, increased endurance, greater mental alertness, and deep and restful sleep. Also, adaptogens significantly accelerate the recovery process after illness.

USING RHODIOLA ROSEA AS AN ANTI-AGING TREATMENT
A large proportion of all aging diseases (perhaps 70-80%) is believed to occur because the stress level is too high, and/or too long-term. High-stress modern living is probably the main factor causing chronic disease and premature aging. Fortunately, Mother Nature has an answer to this challenge - a unique class of herbal products called "adaptogens".
Adaptogens have the broadest spectrum of healing properties of any herbal medicine, but their unique value is that they specifically relieve stress.

You may be familiar with the names of what are now called "first-generation" adaptogens: Panax Ginseng, American Ginseng, and Eleutherococcus senticosus (Siberian Ginseng). But I want to tell you about a unique adaptogen of the "second generation", Rhodiola Rosea, which is a powerful anti-aging phyto supplement with adaptogenic and anti-stress activity. In Russia, Rhodiola rosea also known as "Golden root", has been used for centuries to cope with the cold Siberian climate and stressful life.

Rhodiola Rosea has the ability retard the aging process by stimulating the body's natural disease killing cells and raise the efficiency of the intracell DNA repair mechanisms.

Rhodiola Rosea both stimulates and protects the immune system by reinstating homeostasis (metabolic balance) in the body. It also increases the natural killer cells (NK) in the stomach and spleen.

Rhodiola Rosea is one of the best gifts of nature that helps the body to adapt to different, adverse environments, working its magic to keep the body in a biologically healthy and balanced condition.

Rich in antioxidants, rhodiola rosea is an adaptogen herb with mood-elevating potential. It helps the adrenals fight oxidative stress by controlling cortisol levels.

Oxidative stress, the villain that expedites the aging process, is closely associated with brain function. The brain requires more oxygen than any part in the body. Rhodiola rosea extract is known for improving brain energy. It increases the bioelectrical activity of the brain, and possesses stress-fighting, mood-elevating, depression-reduction properties. Rhodiola rosea stimulates mental capacity and sharpens one's alertness and ability to think clearly. Studies have proven that students who supplement with Golden Root have 40 percent higher test results.

THE RHODIOLA ROSEA PLANT
It is an adaptogen that comes from the Polar Arctic regions of Eastern Siberia. Commonly called "Golden Root" or "Arctic Root", Rodiola Rosea is one of the more fascinating plant species in the world today and is largely unknown in the United States. It is a perennial plant with red, pink, or yellowish flowers. It has no biological relation to the "common" rose, but due to its similar fragrance it has been used as a substitute for Attar of Roses.
This herb has extraordinary medicinal benefits in a number of curative categories. It has been used for hundreds of years to treat cold and flu-like symptoms, promote longevity and increase the body’s resistance to physical and mental stresses.

HEALTHFUL EFFECTS OF RHODIOLA ROSEA
Why all the excitement about Rhodiola? As it turns out, this northern Asian root packs a potent adaptogenic punch, helping the body to adapt to 21st century living in many ways. As ABC's Mark Blumenthal told Newsweek's Ms. Underwood, "It's got everything to become an herbal superstar - a high safety profile, compelling benefits and a reasonable amount of scientific research." In fact, it has been treasured in Russia and Sweden for many hundreds of years for increasing mental focus, physical endurance, productivity and fertility while fighting depression, fatigue, impotence, hypoxia, anemia, infections and even cancer.
There have also been claims that this plant has great utility as a therapy in asthenic conditions resulting from acute or chronic overwork (decline in work performance, sleep disturbances, poor appetite, irritability, hypertension, headaches, and fatigue) developing subsequent to intense physical or intellectual strain, influenza and other viral exposures, and other illness. 23 Two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials of the standardized extract of Rhodiola rosea root (SHR-5) provide a degree of support for these claimed adaptogenic properties and indicate possible utility in asthenic conditions induced by overwork or over study.

COMPARE RHODIOLA ROSEA TO OTHER HERBS
Rhodiola Rosea is similar to a number of other herbs classified as adaptogenic including: Siberian ginseng, Reishi mushroom, Ginseng, Codonopsis and Ashwagandha.
The anti-depressive and anti-stress activity of Golden root is higher than that of St. John's Wort, Ginkgo biloba and Panax Ginseng. Furthermore, Rhodiola rosea is five times less toxic than Panax ginseng.

SIDE EFFECTS
Rhodiola rosea extract is thought to be quite safe. There are no known contraindications or interactions with other drugs/herbs, but there is a slight potential for allergic reactions in some individuals.
Overall, Rhodiola Rosea has very few side effects. Most users find that it improves their mood, energy level, and mental clarity.
